Raging Heart On by Jordan Marie

      This is the first book I've read by Jordan Marie.
      The title grabbed me and I figured, why not give it a try? It is book two of the series, but a standalone. you do NOT have to read the first one to enjoy this book.
     White is a famous football player out on leave due to an injury. He and Kayla have been friends since childhood. Kayla has always been in love with him, but White has always seen her as a little sister.
      The book tells the story of how they were friends to lovers.
      I love White's crazy family. His mom is insanely funny! Kayla has some past drama that White helps her work through.
     I loved this book, but felt it was a tad long and felt some parts were repetitive at times. This in no way, makes it boring though! I look forward to the next book by Jordan Marie about this family!
    It's a HEA with no cliffhanger.

Ego Maniac by Vi Keeland

 My love for Vi Keeland is faithful. I have never read anything of hers I haven't been head over heels for. When I heard Egomaniac was coming out, I couldn't wait!

     Drew is a lawyer who is immediately attracted to Emerie. The mishap of how they met is adorable! Drew is cocky and well...an egomaniac! He has no problem speaking his mind to Drew. She is a Psychologist specializing in marital counseling. It's instant chemistry.

***He took another step closer. Maybe two feet separated us now. “I think your body likes me, and your head is fighting it. The two should fight it out like adults—naked in the bedroom with me.”***

   I highly recommend this book. It's sweet, sexy and a HEA with no cliffhanger. The epilogue is awesome too. Go and get this book!

I don't know WHAT I was expecting going into this book. A friend recommended it to me.
  Honestly, this book had me laughing out loud and my family was looking at me like I was crazy!
  This author is refreshing, brilliant and hysterical! I have a feeling there is something in this book everything can relate to from sometime in there lives! I love her writing style and will be reading more of her works!
  This book is mostly journal entries that are hilarious. So different from anything I've ever read. One of the entries that just made me LOL so loud was:
 ***I watched in confusion as he began taking items out of his pockets and placing them on the dusty nightstand beside us—a lighter, a pack of cigarettes, his keys, a pack of gum. From his back pockets, he removed his wallet and then a pair of handcuffs, followed by another pair of handcuffs. The f*ck? Flashing me a wicked grin as the second set of steel bracelets hit the table, Knight reached behind his back once more. (Those tight Levis were like a clown car of sin!) ***

Strum Your Heart Out by Crystal Kaswell

Loved this book.
   Yes, I've read a lot of rock star books, and I've also read books

 where the main characters are forced to live together for whatever reason.

 In this case, Kara and Drew are old friends and Kara gets thrown

 out of her tiny apartment because her roommate wants her boyfriend

 to move in with her.
  Drew is her friend from her childhood, and he is in a band. Money 

doesn't seem like an issue for him, so he wants Kara to move in with

 him and he has a big apartment, and let's Kara pay whatever she can

 afford.
 You can almost predict where this is going, but I still liked it! Drew 
is caring and sweet,and the sex scenes are hot!

 *** Drew is kissing me. It's not for show. It's not a dare. It's

 because he wants me.***

  It's a HEA and no cliffhanger, and there are other books about all the 
band members.

Lip Service by Simone Sowood

    I really LOVED this book! It had just the right amount of humor, heat, 

and kept my attention!

    Knox is a gorgeous single dad who buys and restores vintage cars for a living. 

    Avery is a vlogger who is an expert on sex and sex toys. She is living next 

door to Knox and tries her best to become friends with him, but because 

Knox has vowed to shut himself from relationships, he is rude to Avery and 

basically grunts at every attempt she makes to communicate with him. She

 surely has her work cut out for her.

     This was my first book by this author and I'm looking forward to reading 

more of her books!

     Lip Service is a standalone and a HEA. I loved the epilogue too!

     I highly recommend this book!

Full Package by Lauren Blakely

   Lauren Blakely is wonderful!

   I love that this book is told from the male POV.

   Chase and Josie are old friends. Josie has her own sweet shop and Chase is an E.R. Doctor. 

   She has a tiny apartment and needs a new roommate and Chase can't

 find anywhere close to the hospital to live. Yep...he moves in with her

 and wants to remain friends, so they tell each other they shouldn't do 

 anything but be friends. Easier said than done! The banter and sexual

 chemistry is adorable.

***Even so, I wish I could tell her the truth.That it’s getting harder for

 me to pull off this trick. That she challenges my ability to

 compartmentalize like no one and nothing ever has. All my

 instincts tell me to kiss her, to touch her, to take her to bed.

 But man can’t let instincts rule him.***

***I dip my mouth to hers, tasting her sweetness, savoring

 the closeness. Her kiss is cupcake and frosting, sex and love.

 It’s everything that turns me on, and everything I need to be

   It's a standalone and a HEA with great epilogues.

 Honestly...my FAVORITE thing about this book? There are

 sweet treats that Josie talks about in the book. Ms. Blakely

 actually puts the recipe for these sweet treats in the book!! 

Yes! I'm a lover of baking, and this was amazing! I totally plan 

on trying all these recipes for myself! I highly recommend this

 book.

Cocky Biker by Faleena Hopkins

 Jett Cocker is yet another brother from the Cocker brother series. Jett is in a motorcycle club. Big guy, sexy as hell, and on the right side of the law. He and his MC brothers are out to save people in bad situations. His father is a congressman who has disowned Jett because he doesn't understand his lifestyle.

   Jett meets Luna ( who he nicknames "Sunshine") in a local diner. Luna has a history which I will not spoil here. She is guarded and doesn't trust men. The chemistry between the two is instant and undeniable. Little by little, Luna learns to trust Jett, because he is persistent with her.

 ***“Sunshine,” I say as I walk to her side and feel a lump forming in my damn throat. “Remember how I said it was okay to leave? Well, not yet. If you f*ckin’ clock out while I’m gone, I will hunt you down in heaven and make you pay for that sh*t".  I lean over with tears in my eyes. “I mean it. Don’t leave yet. I’ll be back. Tonk’s gonna watch over you. Don’t you f*ckin’ leave.” Kissing her cheek, I hold there. It takes every ounce of willpower I have to walk away.***

    The characters are what you'd expect from a MC romance. Tough, dirty mouthed, strong men.

    The sex scenes are hot ( as Faleena Hopkins always writes them! ).

    I was worried I'd be tired of the family as the series went on, but no! She is such a great author and these brothers all have their own lives. Always kind hearted and loyal.

   This is a HEA and a standalone. If you haven't started this series, I recommend you do. I didn't read them in order, and it didn't matter.
